Filmed on location at the Family Dog Ballroom in San Francisco in September, 1970, the show captures the heyday and diversity of the San Francisco sound with three of the most well known bands to emerge from the scene: Santana, who would release their second album at the end of 1970; The Grateful Dead, including original band member Ron "Pigpen" McKernan, who were making a name for themselves with their jam-filled performances; and Jefferson Airplane, who were at the time the biggest of the bands from the area.

San Francisco was an area of artistic creation during the mid-to-late 60's. Whether it was art, poetry or music, the Haight-Ashbury area of San Francisco was the place for like-minded individuals to explore and create. Noted jazz columnist Ralph J. Gleason took note of the exploding rock music scene and produced several television specials and documentaries spotlighting the music emerging from San Francisco. The process of grieving is very general after a loved one dies. After a grandparent, parent, child, relative or friend is gone, you have a dissimilar relationship. There is no such thing as a typical loss. Long after the funeral, it is common for a survivor to contact yearning - wanting to see our deceased loved one again - and soon.

The stark fact of life is that corporal death happens to everyone. A religious Christian faith believes in a best life for eternity - a home with a loving God forever.

A simple prayer can change your heart and mind as you cope with the loss. Here are ten things you can do just one simple prayer:

1. Find a prayer and write your loved one's name on it. Carry that prayer with you in your purse. Every time you go shopping, say a prayer for your loved. One.

2. Give a simple prayer to a grieving husband, wife, mum or father. Having a prayer to say yourself is a good thing; helping others who are grieving is even better. We make best companions in life when we share each other's burdens.

3. Use a simple prayer card for a bookmark in your Bible or popular book. Especially if you write a loved one's name on the prayer, you can recall him or her when you are reading and say a quick prayer.

4. Make a small shrine with a simple prayer and a photo of your loved one. Find a popular area where you might sit and drink a cup of tea, water or coffee. Remember that your loved ones are right there with you and then offer the prayer to remember their presence.

5. Put a prayer your wallet and and look at it often. A wallet often carries money, which is precious. But not as precious as your loved one. So, when you pull out money, remember the real important thing in life - your love of your loved one.

6. Place a simple prayer on your night stand. That way you can say the prayer when you get up in the morning and before you go to bed.

7. Tuck a simple prayer in your jacket pocket so that you can pull it out and pray it during breaks at work. There is always time to remember and break up your day by saying a prayer for your loved one.

8. Display the prayer in your vehicle, so that you can read a prayer when you are stopped in traffic. Your loved one's life stopped unexpectedly at the intersection of life and death. Remember her when you are waiting for a red light to turn green.

9. Pray a simple prayer together with your house during morning or evening prayers. A house that prays together, stays together. Your loved one is on the other side, praying with you, too.

10. Share the prayer with house members and pray before meals to remember your loved one's presence with you as you eat. Meals are a extraordinary time to share love and news of the day. Fantasize your loved one right there with you at your kitchen or dinner table.

A simple prayer sends condolement messages that your deceased loved ones are at home with God when time is done. All you need to do is to find a prayer that you can adapt to pray all ten ways for your deceased loved ones.

Oh My God - My Friend's Only Son Is Dead! What Do I Do Now: Run and Hide?

It's evening; you're listening to the news on television. The news reporter tells of a fatal auto crisis while the July 4th fireworks activities. The name of the fatality is released, the house having already been notified. They say his name. It is the only son of a widowed lady in your prayer group from church. What do you do, you wonder? What is your responsibility to the widow, to her son?

You believe that Jesus commanded us to raise the dead, but absolutely Jesus didn't mean you, did He? And if He did, just what in thunder are you supposed to do to cause it to happen?

Dead Family

What are the facts, you ask yourself? Well, 1) the widow is dead, 2) she has lost all power of self-defense in life, 3) she cannot exercise having the best defense by exhibiting a good offense because she is dead and 4) she cannot stand in the gap for her own resurrection's rising from the dead, as Jesus did for His some 2000 years ago.

Totaling these facts up, you shocking realize that God expects you to now stand in the gap for the widow, as He did for the widow of Nain's only son. God expects you to provide her best defense by manifesting your faith in God's best offense, even His eternal word which endureth forever and ever.

You immediately drop everything and call her. No one answers; you leave voice mail and begin interceding in prayer on her behalf. An hour later and still no return phone call and no retort to your phone call; you go to her house to see her. Her car is in the drive but no one answers the doorbell or your loud knocking. You look in the back yard, no one is there.

All is quiet. You check with the neighbors on both sides and one of them indicates the lady arrived home earlier in the day and has not gone out. They outline she is probably sleeping, exhausted from the trauma of losing a loved one.

You are concerned. The Holy Spirit has been nudging you but you are unsure as to why. You check the front door and it is locked. You walk nearby back and explore the back door is unlocked. Announcing yourself and calling your friend's name, you enter the house cautiously.

You find your friend seated in the living room, quietly sleeping the deep sleep of death. The widow has suffered a severe heart attack, brought on by the deep traumatic experience of enduring the devastating loss of her second loved one, and being left all alone in life. The grief was too much for such a frail body; it gave up the ghost and perished.

What do you do?

First off right out of the gate, you begin to pray in faith over the man whole personage, speaking aloud the faith confessions we are exterior as follows; that it was God's will to raise the dead in New Testament days, that it is the will of God to raise the dead today in the 21st Century, and that it is the will of God for you, as a believer in Jesus Christ, to lay hands of Fire on your Christian friend and raise her back to life. What you absolutely do is to speak the Bible-word of life over the person; and this of course, mandates the prerequisite of you having previously input said Bible-word of life into your own spirit and soul.

Tell Jesus that you expect the man to be raised back to life because He Himself said to expect it. Go on the football obnoxious and command the person's spirit to come back into the body. Begin thanking Jesus for sending the spirit of this man back into the body, command the lungs to be filled with the breath of life and command the person's eyes to open, in the Name of Jesus. Do not doubt, only Believe. Begin listing some reasons why this man deserves to be raised from the dead. (Let's try again. Can you name these reasons right now?)

Having done all, stand on the word of God and your faith in it. Begin praising God in all His goodness; worship Him for all of His mercy and compassion. Continue with this until the man stirs and begins breathing. It is prominent that you remember that your job is to go as far as the Word of God will take you, in raising your prayer-group friend back to life. Jesus will do the rest of what you yourself cannot do.

Picture you yourself as being an actual living part of this life-scenario in your mind and dreams. Will you be ready for this moment when it gets here? One year, one month, one day...it will come to pass. Will you be ready? What will you do? Will you be ready?

And when I return, says the Lord, will I find faith (to raise widows) on the Earth?
